Ø  Identify User issues, diagnose problems and deliver workable solutions via phone, email or desk.

Ø  Ensuring that all user issues are resolved with agreed service level time frames.

Ø  Overseeing the installation of hardware and software including printers, PCs & OS’s

Ø  Troubleshooting network hardware & ensuring that network performance remains optimal.

Ø  Managing access & assigning appropriate permission to ensure the security of information.

Ø  Accurately maintaining call logs for communication, audit purpose & process improvement.

Ø  Ensure that all backups were carried out and that all data was safe & secure

Ø  Application programming activities and supervises the design, development, testing, implementation

Ø  Maintenance of computer systems which support academic and administrative functions

Ø  Coordinates the administration, maintenance, and training associated with the mainframe database management system

Ø  Contributes to the overall success of Computer Services by performing all other duties as assigned by the Director of Computer Services.
